Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo is a part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Chartered in 1997, the club celebrated 25 years of serving this area in September of 2022. Club members are energetic men and women whose target interest focuses on bettering the lives of children and youth.

As a 501c (3) non-profit organization, the club uses in-kind contributions, cash donations, and fundraising opportunities to support programs for children and youth. 100% of all proceeds go to scholarships and community focused charities.

An additional focus of the club is community engagement. Annually, members schedule regular highway cleanups, work shifts at the Mukilteo Food Bank, help with seasonal cleanup at the Mukilteo Community Garden, and work events such as Christmas House, Camp Killoqua, Clothes for Kids, Domestic Violence Services, and more.

As a 501©(3) non-profit, we join forces with the US Coast Guard and City of Mukilteo to safeguard, spruce up, and swing open the doors of our cherished lighthouse while also helping to archive the history of our area.

Some volunteer areas include:
- Lighthouse & Gift Shop Crew: Be the face of maritime history by manning the lighthouse and treasure-filled gift shop from April to September.
- History Archivists: Dive into the past and help us chart the course of Mukilteo’s legacy.
- Garden Guardians: Got a green thumb? Help our gardens grow with the same love and care as our community.
- Wordsmiths: Craft and polish articles that tell the tales of our sea-kissed shores for various periodicals.
- Project Pirates: Join our crew for thrilling one-off adventures that make history fun!

Our mission is to provide opportunities for guild members and our community to learn more about our craft. We co-sponsor the Mukilteo Garden & Quilt Tour with the Mukilteo Way Garden Club, held every other year.
We donate newly-made quilts to those who need a little extra TLC, through organizations that serve such clientele as disadvantaged children in Snohomish County, and community members served by the organization that sponsors Meals on Wheels.
We present a Speaker Series for quilting arts education open to the public.
