Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo is a part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
Chartered in 1997, the club celebrated 25 years of serving this area in September of 2022. Club members are energetic men and women whose target interest focuses on bettering the lives of children and youth.
As a 501c (3) non-profit organization, the club uses in-kind contributions, cash donations, and fundraising opportunities to support programs for children and youth. 100% of all proceeds go to scholarships and community focused charities.
An additional focus of the club is community engagement. Annually, members schedule regular highway cleanups, work shifts at the Mukilteo Food Bank, help with seasonal cleanup at the Mukilteo Community Garden, and work events such as Christmas House, Camp Killoqua, Clothes for Kids, Domestic Violence Services, and more.
The Mukilteo Community Garden is a charitable and educational non-profit run solely by volunteers. Our mission is growing a healthy community through gardening. The successes of our growing seasons could not have happened without the energy and enthusiasm of our volunteers, and the strong support of our community. Our Mukilteo Food Bank is located at the Mukilteo Presbyterian Church at 4514 84th St. SW, Mukilteo, Wa. 98275. We are a 100% Volunteer based non profit that distributes to our clients four days per month. Please visit our website. Thank You Mukilteo
Our mission is to provide opportunities for guild members and our community to learn more about our craft. We co-sponsor the Mukilteo Garden & Quilt Tour with the Mukilteo Way Garden Club, held every other year.
We donate newly-made quilts to those who need a little extra TLC, through organizations that serve such clientele as disadvantaged children in Snohomish County, and community members served by the organization that sponsors Meals on Wheels.
We present a Speaker Series for quilting arts education open to the public.
The Y is a cause-driven organization focused on three key areas: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We believe a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors. Our programs, services, and initiatives enable youth to realize their potential, offer families ways to have fun together, empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body, welcome and embrace newcomers and help foster social responsibility.
We are a faith community striving to serve our neighbors in need. We are always welcoming volunteers in our many programs of outreach, from the Community Kitchen Gardens, Packs for Kids feeding program, on-campus yard work, and special events like Trunk-or-treat, Octoberfest, Easter Egg Hunt, Garage Sale, and more. If you are looking for community service hours or a way to get connected with the Mukilteo neighborhood, please give us a call and we will help you get connected.
